Overview
Communityworks is a partnership with community foundations in Illinois that strive to improve the quality of life for residents. When a community works well, its citizens enjoy a strong economy and healthy environment. In particular, workforce development, land use and protection, and early childhood care and education are often leading indicators of a community's vitality. Communityworks supports foundations' efforts to effectively address these three issues. This partnership is enhancing individual foundation activity and cultivating a network of partnerships among community foundations across the state, increasing awareness and collaboration through an ever-growing pool of available resources. |
