Elgin Program Manager
Becky manages office operations and grants administration for the Foundation’s Elgin Office. She reviews grant applications and reports for the Elgin Grantworks program, and coordinates meetings and special projects for local partners and grantees. Becky also maintains a GIS database which produces maps to document the connectivity and impact of the Foundation’s land conservation efforts in Illinois. She also played an important role in developing successful community outreach programs and strategies in partnership with the Gail Borden Library for the Elgin 2010 Census “Count Me In” Campaign. Her efforts helped Elgin achieve a 79% participation rate (the national average was 74%). The Foundation was nominated for an Elgin Image Award in recognition of her leadership. Becky grew up in Southern Illinois and earned a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Western Illinois University.
